Altruistic Residential Care has designed our services to meet the unique needs of each individual while working with the available individual support plan (ISP) and modifying care as needs or status changes, such as transitioning to the next level of care. If there is no available ISP, ARC with collaboration of the individual and family members will create a detailed and comprehensive ISP that addresses the specific goals. We provide residential living, community outreach, day support, respite services in our licensed residential care centre, group home, and family support homes in different communities of Alberta.
Note: Intake for support is on an individual’s needs basis.
- Community outreach programs can be accessed between 9am and 4pm in which clients are paired with a key worker.
- Respite Services options often include daytime, overnight, 24 hours, weekdays or weekends.

Many clients come to ARC looking for a supportive presence in their lives – a communal “rock” they can count on for big days. We provide continuous residency and support for as long as required. ARC wants to be there for all the big, important, even at scary or anxious moments.

We also identify and implement strategies to enhance sustainable care such as focusing on proper materiality (nutrition and chemical wise) , access to nature, naturally bright spaces with greenery, good air quality and regular building maintenance.
